Tucker Hill is a Philadelphia/NY based musician and producer. After recording his upcoming album while employed as an engineer at Monk Music Studios in East Hampton, NY, he has returned to Philadelphia to complete post production and release the project.
Tucker performs consistently in and around the Philadelphia area with an immensely talented group of local musicians from University of the Arts (from which Tucker is an Alumni), Temple University, and throughout the diverse and flourishing greater Philadelphia music scene, billed as Tucker Hill Band. The band represents a reinvention of Tucker's composition- in comparison with his previous group, Seoul Delhi (for which he served as sole songwriter and co-frontperson)- with a greater focus on concise songwriting and experimental improvisation in live performance.
The group has performed at a variety of Philadelphia venues including Milkboy, Underground Arts, Bourbon & Branch, Silk City, Creep Records, Connie's Ric Rac, World Cafe Live (Upstairs and Downstairs),
and festivals including The Manayunk StrEAT Festival, BrainFest, Electric Halloween, Beardfest, Groove in the Grove, and many more. Tucker is currently in the final production stages of a full-length EP, which will be released in May, 2018.
His music merges elements of Classic Rock and Neo-Soul into Modern Pop; he cites John Mayer, St. Vincent, and Hiatus Kaiyote as major influences.
